I had the X50v for a while, and it was certainly a very nice piece of equipment, but I found that it just didn't fit my purposes. There's a reason why the PDA is going away. I thought I had a use for it, but I didn't. I also wouldn't make it my portable video player, although I never tried. It would probably be sufficient.

That said, when I was doing my comparisons, IMO it was the best PDA out there. If it had a phone in it, I'd be pressuring my company to get me one to replace my Treo 600.

As for power adapters on a plane or anywhere else, I'm a fan of iGo.
