Like DVI, ADC can support digital and analog video signals. So the first thing to figure out is if the monitor is accepting a digital or analog signal. Maybe in a status screen somewhere? (I know that Apple monitors tend to be lacking in buttons, but I'm not familiar with that particular model.)
