Dammit. They're back to offering lifetime subscriptions. For ⅓ more than the 3-year subscription. Which I got only because there was no lifetime subscription.
SInce TiVo stopped innovating years ago and thanks to their various deals with other companies (such as their exclusive with WD for HD expansion), I wouldn't touch one again even if it included a lifetime sub at the base retail price.
Unfortunately it seems they're turning into a bit of a patent troll to boot.
