Gee, I hope those new power supplies won't be the same ones SonicBlue provides if you buy a separate one. You know, those "bricks" some other user posted about last week

Well, I ordered my 2 empegs about the 23rd of last month, with international power supplies as I live in New Zealand.
Other than some emails from Rob when I changed my order slightly and 1 from David about the wrong Expiry on my CC - I heard nothing [the last was on the first when David said 'order information has been updated'.

Yesterday the shippers custom agent called me to say that they had a shipment from empeg in the UK and they wanted my Customs 'Customer number' so they could get the paper work for the (ineveitable) import tax under way.

So I made a trip out to the [nice and new] local TNT freight handling depot to collect my goods once I'd paid the import tax.

When I got home I unpacked both units and checked them out. Both came with the same IEC connector power supplies that I got when I originally bought my empeg - in fact if anything I think the newer ones are smaller than the earlier ones.
But they were from the same supplier (Sunpower UK).

So unless The extra power supplies are radically different from what I got - you can expect the same I guess if you ordered a international power supply.

They certainly were not the massive 3.5 amp bricks that the SB store in the Us is shipping as 'extra' power supplies.

BTW: I like the new blue screen coating/colour - I like it so much I'm going to swap it to my original Empeg unit until I can clone this player to the one of the new ones.

The locking handle does seem different [better] also - I know others have commented on this as well.

So Thanks David@Empeg and Rob also - its good to get a spare unit at last if nothing else.

I certainly appreciated Robs dedication to duty coming in over christmas and all to change the store pricing and to process orders and do the confirmation emails and David as well - no doubt the lack of shipping notices is simply due to the extreme pressure to get the orders shipped.
