At the moment, the FAQ at www.riocar.org is down. But when it comes back up in a couple hours, please locate the entry on "Hyperterminal" and look through that. Try to connect to the player with Hyperterminal. If you can't see the player in Hyperterminal, then Emplode won't be able to see it either. There are several possible things that could be going wrong with the connection, and they're covered in that FAQ entry.
