Some users have been unable to connect to the BBS over the weekend. I haven't had trouble, but I've gotten independent reports from others who have had trouble connecting. I'm not sure what the problem is, and I haven't heard from PaulH regarding it.

I have also had problems connecting to the BBS from the network connection at my office at the university but my home modem connection is still working fine. I have no idea why this would be!?!

I wasn't able to connect whatever network or ISP I have tried the whole weekend and yesterday. Muchos outagos I guess. It just started working again. J.

The site was there (empeg.comms.net was serving the "redirect" page) but the actual BBS was down.

I guess PaulH knows :)

I couldn't get on either from home or work. I tried different browsers which didn't help but I didn't think of trying a dial-up connection instead of the T1 at work or the ADSL at home. It's good to see the board up and working today. All is well with the world

I feel so relieved now... whew, it wasn't all just a cruel joke.

Now if only they would start shipping more empegs... like last week!
