An interesting thing about the color poll: I have a favorite color (blue) and I have the color I am ordering (green) to match my car dash lighting.

I am actually planning on getting each face plate, just because I don't like things being static for very long.
Maybe Green for one trip, then Blue for the next... Matching colors doesn't really mean that much to me.

In playing around w/ the polls, it occured to me that most polls go under other messages before people really have a chance to vote on them.. SO,

now, polls can be created by anyone in any message by following this faq: http://empeg.comms.net/cgi-bin/faq_english.pl?Cat=#polls Choice 1 Advantages - anyone can post messages without any restrictions Disadvantages - anyone can post messages without any restrictions, so that you might still get 1 poll with 12 regular messages replied to it Choice 2 - Advantages - Anyone can still post polls on that section, but a moderator would insure that only legitimate polls were posted Disadvantages - Right now, with the state of the BBS, this isn't really necessary; but with a flood of new users coming in shortly, it might be Choice 3 - Advantages - Less system resource usage for PaulH:) Disadvantages - umm.. yeah... -mark ...proud to have owned one of the first Mark I units

Personaly I think it should come under a new section, but, under a totaly new section, like the way you have "Genral, feedback and informative", including moving the "for sale" section over to it, as in a way, it doesn't quite seem in the right place and tends to be in my way (don't know why, but but it just sorta bugs me).
I also think that no moderation should be the best method, I mean, look at this BBS compared to others (can't thin of any off the top of my head, but I think that is the 17 hour shift getting to me), it gets it's flames, but, they are all on topic, nothing seems out of place, every1 (can't vouch for myself) posts on topic, or within reason of topic.
I myself, when I use the net, never normaly goto BBS's, because a lot have become places to chat, which gets realy anoying, this BBS on the other hand, has been so informative and I personaly think that the EMPEG it'self could not have developed as far as it has without it.

I agree. This is one of the better ones I've been to. An example of a bad message board? sharkyextreme! That place is awful. DiGNAN 13653
