I'm upto 18,900 tracks on my player and this just started happening after adding the last 300 or so...

While playing 1 song on repeat, I had this happen:

When I press the down button 3 times on the player, the player thinks (hourglass), pauses then reboots. Repeatable. This is also with Repeat and Shuffle (Newest Additions) enabled.

The I played a playlist that has 200 or so tracks in it. That played fine. Then I pressed the down button 3 times again. Rebooted itself.

But, ever since playing the root via emplode, all is fine.

Could this be because of my playlist/database size?

I havn't been able to get a serial log yet, but I was curious if any of you thought maybe this could be due to playlist size?

Or maybe it's something odd in one of the 300 tracks you just added. Can you make a temporary playlist of just those 300 tracks and try to play that?

Along that line of reasoning - you could also try an oldest or most-played shuffle of the complete playlist. This should eliminate the playlist size as being the cause.
