We went today to Cambridge Car Audio and got our empeg installed. it's great, it's superbe, we drove back home listening (posed for choice) to tracks from the empeg! We are sooooooooo excited!! It was great visiting Cambridge as we used to live there 5 years ago (Great city as always)

oh and btw, we got a discount for installing the empeg, but I had to "remind" them about the discount that I read about here on this board The staffs there are very helpful and friendly too.

Everytime I take my car in there he's hanging around somewhere in the background - I don't think that he likes to give up the installing! (or perhaps he just likes my car ).

Either way, those guys still do a good, and professional job.

I'd love to know how much business they get as a result of him being on this board!

We've put a lot of empeg installs their way, and we buy quite a lot of stuff from them ourselves. I don't think it's a greatly significant as a percentage of their business though - they always seem to be very busy.

Nah, it didn't get moved, the one in the beetle is a new amp. The MX5 still has 2 of the smallest/cheapest alpine amps - these are thin enough to fit into the space available :)

Ah, but it is a 350 small block Chevy engine that I run with. I did drop in a new torque converter ( that was a birthday present )over the weekend and expect better track times next weekend. But I still have no empeg :(
