Fast forwarding with the front keys goes at about 4seconds/minute max... Fast forwarding with the remote goes much faster. Is this by design? It's alot easier to hold down the front button to fast forward then to hold down the remote button...

The surprising thing is you can Fast Forward at all. Don't you use VBR encoding?

Ah, well, 1.1 will fix all our FF/Rew problems. We hope. :-)

I use vbr for everything I do, but there's alot of live album's that I've downloaded that're 70+ minutes - those are the ones that require fast-forwarding in the first place...
