Need help ill start at the begining one of the hard drive cable s came loose in my mk2 so i pulled it out of my truck fixxed it decided to delete all my music and reload it got about half way done. went to load more and i now get warnings "the length of playlist did not match the number of children detected." tried deleteing and reloading the songs with warnings. didnt work. tried to reformat the hard drives and start over cant get that to work get "disk already built" tried the work around for that in the shell prompt prune the fids that doesnt work when i type in the commands it says
"EXT2-fs error (device ide0(3,4)): ext2_check_blocks_bitmap: Wrong free blocks co
unt for group 8218, stored = 8182, counted = 6000
or
EXT2-fs error (device ide0(3,4)): ext2_check_inodes_bitmap: Wrong free inodes co
unt in group 8193, stored = 64, counted = 0

or it will say no such directory when i type in commands.
ive tried different disk builders and firmware no luck
i tried swaping the two drives using one or the other for the main drive didnt do any thing.

now i tried deleting the folders where the music files that didnt sync properly and emplode crashes on the remounting of the disks part of the sync.
any ideas would be appreciated im at the point of beating it with a bat
Thanks

You might try manually rebuilding the database as described here

If you want to rebuild the drives, you should be able to force them to rebuild by connecting to the player with Hyperterminal and hitting enter (I think that's the key, but if not it tells you).

Other's might be more familiar with these particular errors, but this is a start.

You have filesystem corruption and should follow the steps in this article (the "To correct this error" part).

did the e2fsck fix i was able to delete the un wanted folder and when i synced it it screwed up some of the the files i already had on there it deleted the rock folder i had and left the alphabetical folders that were in it and came up with this warnings for some of the songs that were already on the player same warning as above "the length of playlist did not match the number of children detected."
