I've just finished booking airline seats for Anne and I to attend.

Rob Voisey is hosting Empeg's 25th anniversary meet in Cambridge UK. Date is set for September 30th 2023. Scarce on details at the moment, the event announcement is posted on Facebook and is not currently public. I will relay more info here as it becomes available. For now, in Rob V's own words:

My flight is booked. Unless I take a running leap on to the plane from several states away, you probably have me beat on distance.

Heh, and undoubtedly on cost as well! Air Canada Biz seats are very pricey when crossing the pond!

I'll be in Germany on that weekend and the week prior to it. I don't think I'll be in a position where I could train up for the meet, alas.

Five weeks and still counting..

For those joining us for Sunday lunch on Oct 1st, we've booked the Millworks restaurant in Cambridge. It's a really nice venue that I've had lovely meals at, and they can accommodate us all together. I'll be posting a menu in the next day or two from which I'll need your selections due to the size of the group. I'm paying a deposit so please let me know if you didn't say you're joining us on the rsvp form but wish to do so, or vice versa!

Four weeks..

So what hotels are people staying at?

Anne & I are booked in at the Premier Inn Cambridge (A14) at Orchard Park.

Was thinking about the ones closer to the venue, but I guess it doesn't make much difference.

We're hoping to use the shuttle service, as we won't have our own vehicle.

We might have a vehicle, but might not be sober enough to drive one later in the evening.
