Does anyones tuner thump when switching sources?
I get a grumble or thump when the tuner is just starting up after being switched from player to tuner.

Doesn't happen on my tuner. Anyone else?

Wiring problems, possibly?

No it's not the wiring as it only happens when switching from MP3 source to Tuner source using the remotes SRC button for source switching, never happened when switching w/o tuner. The thump or grumble describes it better, is only about a 1/2 second but if the volume is loud when switching sources the sound is really irritating. It's almost like the tuner is finding the frequency it was last on or the tuner is switching on.
I'm going to try it later using the menu switching to see if it does it then as well.

I have exactly the same issue. Generally it happens when the Rio Car is turned on already waiting to go in radio mode. As soon as the radio starts, there's a short 1/2 second rumble as the tuner module powers up. I thought it was normal tuner behavior as it powers up... this never happens with "player" mode.

This does sound like a bug, we'll get it fixed for 2.0

Yes, I think it could be fixed by adding a 1/2 second delay before audio is turned on. This would give sufficient time for the tuner to finish powering up, which is what it sounds like is happening.

Is it possible that the sound you're hearing is your antenna amplifier powering up?
