That's right, you heard it right hear. Tony's full of it from A to Z.

Tony said something that probably wasn't a whole lot like this, "Guys, 2.0 is not the be-all-end-all Jesus Chist of software. Sure it's cool, but it's not miraculous. It's not going to totally blow you away. I just want to warn you that there's opportunity for disappointment. By the way, Greg Combs is an over-exagerating maroon."

I can honestly say that all of that is Grade-F (at best) hogwash.

2.0b3 is in fact the Jesus Christ of software. It is miraculous. It does blow me away. I am not disappointed. And I'm an over-exagerating jack-ass, not a moroon.

My list of things I'll use and love most:
Transient Line Info
Smoking (literally) New Visuals
Fixed Sony Stalk features (except track scan is still broke)
New Shuffle Options for Least Played
Marking Tracks

A Couple Problems (nitpicking):
Need a longer delay for showing items after pressing volume.
Some virtical line artifacts along right side of screen for hula hoops.
Above mentioned track scanning for sony stalk.

In my defense, the original thread is here.

I think 2.0 is great, but I stand by my original statement. I'm still waiting for JC to give us an update on his progress, by the way. While he's at it, maybe he could back me up a bit?

Of course. Isn't it obvious? Full of glitches. Take black holes, for example. Think those were on purpose?

Definitely falls into the "undocumented feature" category.

'Course they are! They are star factories and warp conduits, silly!

Now Dark Matter, that's a bug (at least until someone can file a debug log file).

When Tony says that something actually is the be-all and end-all Jesus Christ[1] of software, then we really gotta have it.

Note: You can just use the precompiler directive $DEITY when making that reference. No need for footnotes.

As far as I'm concerned, the empeg software always has been the $DEITY of software. I was just trying to say that the upgrade wasn't a complete change, it was simply an increase on the existing level of omnipotence.

How can something become more omnipotent?

You know that old riddle: can a omnipotent being make a rock so heavy that it itself cannot lift it? (This either means that 'omnipotent' has no meaning in our logic, or it is something Goedel's Incompleteness Theorem speaks about...)
