Don't panic - it works ok in the car! But when I plug it into the mains it just sleeps. The white light just fades in and out, and no amount of button pushing can awake it. I have tried using it in the car and then just pulling it out (awake) and then plugging it in inside, but no luck. I reeeally want to load some new tunes - help! Sally

Wait, maybe I did. If you plug the player into the USB port of a PC that is turned off, it might lock up when you apply power to it. I think that's even in the release notes. Maybe you just need to turn the PC on first or unplug the USB cable. Is that the problem?

If not, definitely contact support about this one. And let us know what it turns out to be.
