Twice today my empeg got stuck in beta7-dev+ppp+irda-kernel (neither
feature in use), whilst I was listening to the radio, two different
stations.
On both occasions the problem occured a few seconds after tuning
in to an RDS station that was displaying radiotext (or whatever
you call it). The text scrolled along the bottom of the display
for a few seconds then stopped. After that, no buttons on the
remote or the front-panel worked at all, I had to power cycle
to get it working again. The radio continued to play.
I've hardly ever used the radio, I just thought I'd see if there
was anything new with beta7.
