I cannot get the RDS-stuff to work.

I've tuned to the Danish P3 channel at 91.7 with all three RDS-funtions enabled (TA, AF etc).

When I get to Horsens, half way to my destination, the signal looses quality to around 2/3 of the bars indicated. At that time the P3 channel is available with full signal strength at 90.7 but no switchover takes place.

Upon arriving at my destination in Vejle, the 91.7 signal is around 1/3 and the 90.7 is still full signal. Still no switchover has taken place.

This has been consistent for 2-3 days.

Is that a know bug, or am I doing something wrong? (The channel IS stored in a preset)

I'm not convinced that AF has been implemented correctly. It seems to wait for signal strength to degrade almost all the way, and then scan the entire AF list. It SHOULD retune to each station in the AF list periodically (very quickly so you don't hear anything) and switch when it finds a station with a consistantly better signal.

I'll ask Richard (who implemented most of the RDS stuff) to clarify.

I asked for this in the Wishlist forum. I think it's quite nice in the first beta that it makes you aware it's actually doing all of its heavy magic . But just for that one release, please!
