I will link this site in the FAQ now. Good job.

Your limited GeoCities bandwidth will probably get hammered pretty quick, so if you decide to move the site, please let me know so that I can change the FAQ links.

Okay, link changed.

Couple of tips:

- Don't keep your player under the seat, and even if you ignore my advice and do that anyway, don't have a public web page saying you put your player under the seat.

- I recommend handles only, not a shoulder strap. Give people the option, of course, like you're doing. But I think the original empeg bag design was the best precisely because it didn't have a shoulder strap and was therefore less bulky. I had problems with an aftermarket bag with a shoulder strap because the strap slipped off my shoulder a few times (once causing damage to my Mk1).

If want to gain credibility, tone down the street lingo, clean up your language and try to use a spell checker. It really will instill confindence in your workmanship from potential customers. I like the idea though and from the images, it looks like you have a sound product.

Just a suggestion,

Stu

i apologize for the profuse usage of coloquial language. i will emplore the tools known as a "spell checker" as well as tone down my "ghetto slang" so that i may better communicate to you all without the use of a "slangslator"

thanks for the suggestion and i appreciate the comment on the bag as well.

Hey Stu

U need a spell checker too, dood..."confidence" only has two "n"s...

Also, it's "workpersonship" these days, "workmanship" is not PC.

Good point! I omitted a "you" in the first sentence too. But then I meant to make those mistakes, yeah, that's it .

For some reason, my spell checker doesn't like workpersonship , but then I've never been one to subscribe to the whole PC movement anyway.

Excellant! Up here, PC stands for Progressive Conservatives. Isn't that what they call an oxymoron???

well, heres the 99% finished version of what a finalized embag will look like. It is now offered in 5 colors (red, orange, purple, blue, and black) The strap as you see can be customized in any primary color you would like.

There you have it. The bag on the site was the first one i made, and as you can see i have already improved upon it.

odd enough my mom and dad were fashion designers. I think i had sewed a total of 1 month in my life...so its gotta be genetic. I thought of it, put it into action and made it happen, with the help of my moms. I guess thats where i got it from.

You have two moms? Just kidding. I got started with electronics in a similar fashion (pun intended). Usually I would just build useless things, but now I am on to bigger and better things. Good luck with the bags. When I get some money I'll get one. Right now all funds are going into my S/PDIF project.

I was kind of wondering if you have any update on where my bag is? I sent you payment 9 days ago after you emailed me that it was ready and I have no bag or any further communication from you.

Thanks

Jay

Hello all. i figure this will be the quickest way to let this be known. As of late as i told you i have been going throuh some family problems which have caused me to have a lot of problems putting out these bags. Just to let you know for the past week i have been looking and trying to get in contact with my mom. I havent seen her for about a week + now and i hvent even gotten a call. Thats what i was talking about when i meant that i had major family stuff.

I really do apologize, and at the present moment i do not know when i will be resuming the construction of these bags because im trying to locate my mother. I hope that you all can understand, but if you dont, well, theres not much i can do about it. But until i can get in contact with her at least, i wont be doing much in the way of bag making.

Once again im very sorry to all of you out there, and jay your refund is on its way. Sorry man.

Thanks all for the understanding.

Niais

Hope things work out for you. Sorry to hear about what's going on.

As I understand it, at least one user on this BBS has already sent you money for a bag via PayPal. I highly recommend that you refund his money ASAP to prevent problems.

I will remove the link to your site from the FAQ now. Let me know if you choose to begin production on these bags.

No refund yet. It only takes about 30 seconds to send me the cash back I have already sent you through Paypal.

While I sympathize with your situation, your handling off this situation has been very poor. You communicated well up until you had money then nothing. When your situation arose, you never emailed me, despite the fact that I had already paid you. You posted "The bag is going out tomorrow" here just a few posts up then nothing again. Even when you decide to cancel/delay the project, you didn't email me, you just posted here. I have still yet to receive a reply to the email I sent you 5 days ago asking for a refund.

I'm not going to cry over $25.00 but I dont like getting jerked around either. I would appreciate you taking care of this ASAP and in the future it probably would work better for you to send bags then collect money. At least then this kind of thing can be avoided.

I seem to remember reading in another post about how PayPal will shut down someone's account if they even remotely suspect them of fraudulent behavior. Even to the point of refusing to release the closed member's money sitting in his account...
