I should have been watching more carefully. My unit was shipped just as the hot glue was started. There was none on the main board or on the tops of the drives. Those ribbon cable connectors are very easy to dislodge. Fortunately, they are also easy to repair. It should hold, but I intend to replace it anyway.

The IBM 48GB drives are very nice so far. I continue to pour MP3s into it. I will be at this for a little while...
