Roger, I have the same WNDR3700v2 running OpenWRT and works great for me apart from the range. How much range do you get out of yours? Mine gives me no reception in the far reaches of my tiny 2 bed London flat where the old WRT54G would have full reception everywhere.

Tempted to swap it for something else, it is becoming a problem.
