I don't really care for egos, but the music business is full of them anyway. You don't have to look far to find them. How could we forget the Oasis/Blur "Who's got the bigger ego" competition a few years back? Anyway I digress.

I have to give Creed huge credit for one track. "Eyes Wide Open" that has wonderful lyrics. You wouldn't expect a heavy rock band to write something quite as emotional as that about the joys and fears of fatherhood, but they did, and also donated a chunk of the proceeds to a childrens charity.
