So here's the deal. When I first loaded all of my music
on to my empeg MKII I did so by just doing an OLE drag
n' drop off a few folders on to the emplode software...
all went well, and all of the subfolders were recursed
and all of my music got loaded in a snap.


Now, my hard drive on my PC crashed. I lost all of my
ripped WMA files... gigs worth from hundreds of my
ripped CD's. No problem right? So I went back into
the emplode software thinking that I could just click
on 'playlists' ---> download and get everything back
as is. Only problem... it stuck everything in a single
folder. What a mess. Anyway around this or can someone
please take like 20 minutes and get this bug fixed?

just use jemplode that creates subfolders

What is jemplode? Is there another version of the pc software going around? Right now I am using beta11 on my MKII and the corresponding software reccomended on the web site

Look at the top of this screen for jEmplode in yellow letters. You'll be a lot happier with it.

JEmplode even had customizable file naming and folder naming if that's what you want.

I'm hoping that future releases of the Emplode software will incorporate some of these specific features of Jemplode.

There is a piece of software for editing MP3 tags called i know not what but it is reccomnded in a few places it organises MP3s very nicely
