I am interested in buying empeg (the old one), but I am worried about installing it in my Fiat Punto II (2000).

I already have a Sony CD HU (yuck) inside, along with the built-in factory speakers.
To my understanding, the connectors for the HU are standard ISO-DIN, but I would like to get some information from someone who has already installed it in a Punto.

Also, I would like to keep the factory speakers for the time being due to financial issues. Any suggestions for a good amplifier, best buy thing?

I don't like the idea of wiring it thru my Sony HU, space issues and all. But, I might consider it.

I live in Croatia.
