Shouldn't the screen change to say "synchronising" even if the player starts out from the off state for the sync? It would seem logical, but of no real working importance... I just noticed when I was having problems with an interupted sync and thought there was something majorly wrong because the display wasn't coming on.
On a side note, what's the best way to recover from a failed sync? I really wish there was a cleanup&redo the last sync option, as all I seem to be able to do with a sync fails is crash and burn.
