...Thank everyone who's done anything on the Empeg.
I just picked up my new MINI yesterday, and so, for the last.. 24 hours I've had to deal with *ack* CDs - no empeg. (Great car, BTW. But I digress.)
And it occured to me that, while the product has been terminated for about a year, It is still THE BEST purchase I have EVER made, to date. (Sure, the Mini was a good purchase, but I WAS happy with my truck. I would have been happy with another auto. But considering as how, now, I can't stand the limited selection of a CD PLAYER in the car, that makes the Empeg #1.)
So, anyways - Many thanks to all the original players in the Empeg story. Thanks to the guys still releasing player software for it. Thanks to Mark for HiJack. Thanks to pca fo re-making the tuner modules. Thanks to the guys (Iat Eutronix? I can never remember how to SPELL it..) for the Digital out board. Thanks for Tony for the FAQ (which is impossible to keep a printed version, becuase it ALWAYS gets updated.) Thanks to the riocar.org for, well, hosting the BBS now.
Thanks to David over there in 'Support', for doin' a great job with warranty (and not-so-warranty) work. And to anyone else that's done anything on the Empeg. (Too numerous to even count..)
I'm happy. New car, soon to have a great sound system, made better by the Empeg.
