Using hijack v299. if i remove 'Info' from the PopUp0 that i have set to open when pressing the knob, i get an ir_translate config error on the empeg when i reboot. the PopUp0 then reverts to it's default menu items.

Post your config.ini file that gives the error, please.

I must note that I do not get the error after changinfg the .ini file and the empeg gets synced (the pc reboots it). It's only after I reboot myself that i get the error. Here you go:

it is definately The PopUp0 line causing the problem. After I got that error, I experimented and the only way i got rid of it was to make that line look like this:

PopUp0=Clock,Detail,Info,KnobSeek,Mark,Repeat,Shuffle

If I ever did get my way (someday haha), it would read Bookmarks,Detail,Info,KnobSeek,Mark,Repeat,Shuffle,VisualMenu with the knobleft for visual sequential backward/knob right for sequentiual forwards.

Get rid iof the excess comma ',' at the end of the PopUp0 line.
