Hi All,

You've all been a great help to me since I joined, way back last Oct 2001! And My empeg is STILL going strong almost a year later! I have an extra set of tickets to see:

The Rolling Stones at the Air Canada Centre THIS Wednesday Oct 16, 2002!!! View my E-Bay auction here:

cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI....1389737057

Sorry again (Off Topic!), but an error occurred when I placed this order on ticket masters site and now I'm stuck with them!

A drop off can be arranged! If you don't want to bid on E-Bay phone or email as it says in the auction!

Thanks

Ben Withers

I didn't realize that Ebay allowed ticket scalping. If so, this makes me feel better about buying tickets to shows I'm not yet sure I could attend.

And by the way, my Peter Gabriel tix are in the mail. Most expensive tickets I've ever purchased. Four seats, 24th row... 576.05 total.

Now, most people would say "ouch" seeing that. But having seen the Secret World tour from a similar vantage point, I have to say that I'm sure it will be worth every penny.

You're right, OUCH! The only show I'd pay that much to see is Pink Floyd. Buta as they haven't been to (or near) New Orleans in 10 years, it's not looking good.

Then you obviously haven't seen Peter, then.

I saw PF on the MLOR and DB tours, and Peter's show blew them away by a factor of ten.

Not in terms of pyrotechnics, of course. PF has lasers and fireworks, OK. But Peter's show was like a theatrical production, just amazing. It was more than just playing the songs and having pretty lightshows to go with it.

If you have the means, buy or rent his "Secret World Live" videotape. Best concert film ever made next to Stop Making Sense. Perfectly captures what it was like to be there.

I didn't realize that Ebay allowed ticket scalping.

The rules for this have gotten more and more strict as time has gone on, but tickets aren't a banned item; just restricted. Some of the rules are different for different states, because in addition to eBay having their own rules about reselling tickets, some states do as well. I have bought and sold tickets on eBay before, but only as a last resort.

The rules in Ontario, Canada are you can't sell tickets above Face Value. If anyone is interested I'd be willing to take less then the face Value, make me an offer.

Email me at [email protected] if your interested. The highest bidder on my auction when I cancel it (the show starts before the auction ends!) will get the tickets.

View my auction here! Not sure what happend to the link above!!

Based on your recommendation, I might have to go check him out when he comes through here.

Get a hold of the "Secret World Live" video, watch it with the idea in mind that it is an accurate representation of what it was like to be there at the concert (it is for me), and your "might" will turn into a "must".

The start price of the auction has been lowered to $199.97. Someone has to like the Rolling Stones!

They probably just pay a lot of seat-fillers to show up at their concerts so that they can appear to still be popular. I can't say I know anyone who would intentionally go to a Stones concert. But I know a lot of people that would go to a Who show, etc.

They put on an amazing show. Next stop Stones then Bruce Springsteen!
