It finally got me. I never particularly had problems with the upper left corner of the VFD being obscured, because usually I keep it in a mode where "Scope" is visible. I had it in "Now&Next" mode, and Rocket by Def Leppard came on.

The fix is still the same...

I don't plan to use now and next often enough to care, and I don't want to mess up the VFD. It was just amusing how I noticed. In the other car, it doesn't happen, and I didn't have any problem with GPSapp either, this was the only problem I ever had.
