A while ago, Rob said this about the warranty. The post seems strange because it's like their policy changed half-way through the post it'self.

I was just wondering what the official warranty period was as of this date.

The previous post explained that the warranty was 6 months in the US, 12 months elsewhere. I went on to say that we were restructuring our US Support operation (which, to be honest, was very disappointing and generated some scathing feedback from clients) and when this process was finished the warranty would be 12 months throughout the world.

All Mk.2 players have shipped with 12 months warranty.

We thought it rather ironic that we could provide better US support from the UK than from Florida, but with a product as dynamic as the car player that seems to be the case. We also have some very dedicated staff here, who are passionate about the product and put in a lot of work to make our client's experience with us a pleasant one.
