Could some one please tell me how to "put" this information using hijack?
I have the 5 file's, but couldnt exactly understand how to use them...
(Also that emptris 0.2.2. tar isnt a zip file??)

What yoiu first want to do is get the tar file onto the empeg and then use the tar command to extract the files. Something like tar -xvf IIRC, but I'm sure the exact commands are in a readme with emptris. I certainly have an info file somewhere. Even if you are a windows bod, tar is dead easy to learn. In fact, doesn't winzip open tar files these days anyway?

Yes. And it ruins the linefeed characters in Unix text files by converting them to a windows-style CR/LF pair. If you use Winzip to untar a unix file, make sure to turn off the feature called "Smart CR/LF conversion" before doing so.

This is a general rule of thumb for all Windows applications. When you first install any Windows app, look through all available Options, Preferences, and Customize menus and find all options with the word "Smart" in them, and uncheck them.
