Boy, it's been one thing after another with my empeg. I just fixed a problem with one of the buttons a few days ago and today the display on my empeg is extremely fuzzy (unreadable) and very dim. Do I have a broken display board? Does anyone know if its possible to get a replacement display board?

I'm gonna email tech support at sonicblue, but I figured I might get a little further this weekend by sending out a post.

Argh...

Yep, that's exactly what it looks like. I'll check the connection again. If it's off by one pin, does that mean that I'll have one set of pins that are completely bent? ...or is there one (or more) extra pair of female pins than male pins and I haven't lined up the connector right?

Thanks!

There are exactly the right number of pins for holes. You just have to get the connector on to all of them. If you don't, you'll blow one or more fuses, which are easy to replace if you are experienced with surface mount rework, otherwise it will be a (chargable) support issue.
