Red from RedChairSoftware.com, maker of the popular aftermarket software program for the Creative Jukebox is curious about the idea of adding support for the Empeg from within Notmad. I directed him to some of the resources here... and thought it would be slick to be able to manage my
Jukebox and by Empeg from the same interface within windows explorer. (maybe i could sync without my CPU
utilization going to 100%?)

Hmm. Notmad Explorer looks quite nice.
It would probably require quite a few changes to implement all of the Emplode features however.

Nice alternative to Creative Crap center but would need mucho work to outdo emplode, jemplode or the explorer based stuff...Incidentally it has the same issue with web access of the player that the empeg does (cannot stream to player)

it *is* explorer based, and it *can* stream to and from the player. interested to know what features you think emplode and jemplode have that set them way ahead...
