Has anyone else with a Mark I had a problem with the Aux Info screen?

I'm trying to hook up my new Satellite receiver through it. I get the audio through but the only info that shows up on the screen is the song it is paused on in the player section.
I don't get any of these bar graphs and meters I saw everyone else posting about. Just "Info Off" and "Info Line" which shows the player song.
It's not even touching what I put in Emplodes "Aux in Naming" apparently.

Am I missing something and just stupid? Or is this a software problem.

Oh yeah, I'm running 2.0 beta 13 and Hijack 301

If I remember right (search isn't finding exactly what I am looking for), the Mark I had no ability to run the aux input or the FM radio through the DSP (hence the lack of visuals in non MP3 modes). Based on the fact that the Aux screen normally displays DSP type stats and can't read the info it needs, I'm guessing it's not fully initializing the screen. Sounds like a potential bug to me.

Of course, this is going off memory of what I remember of the differences in the Mark 1 and 2. It may be horribly wrong

It does have visuals when in Radio or Aux mode just no info in Aux mode.

It used to say Auxillary or something like that back in the 1.something software.

No one has any other ideas how I can fix this?

I had a problem somthing like this and I had to edit the ini file directly to restore thie missing stuff on my mark2a. I dont know about the mark1 but the mark2a has a line in the ini file just for the info on the screen in aux mode. Mine did have a meter but everything else was missing, I just relabled it in the ini and it came back.

What did you end up calling it?

You named it differently than the Rio software calls it?
Does it still have 3 entries underneath it?

This is holding me up from installing the Sirius radio in my car. I'm not going to install it unless the Empeg shows something on the screen.

I will have to check, I will go back into the ini file and post what I did it has been a while so I don't remember right off hand .

OK, I have a dvd player hooked up to my aux in so in the ini file I put in this:
[aux]
source=
title=DVD Player
artist=Auxiliary Input

I left the source blank just because I didn't need it but those are the three lines that I put in. For some reason without it in the ini file the whole display was blank. I hope this helps, oh and by the way the smoke lens with the gels I got from you are excelent, the smoke with the green gel matches the dash of my jaguar xj-s perfectly.

Those lines are already in my init file. Damn. Thanks anyway.

Hello, The Mark 1 empeg does not have the ability to sample the aux input, or tuner.

Further to that, the Aux info visual is not available for builds without a sampler (Mk 1) - As a result, the 'Aux in Naming' fields in config.ini never get used on a Mk 1 - The aux in mode has not changed for Mk 1 players at all.

I suppose it is a bug really, as the Mk1 is capable of displaying the custom text. I will fix it tonight!
