hi everybody!

i have a strange problem with my mk2. if its connected at home, everything works perfectly: if i cut the power and then plug it in again, the player boots and starts playing from the position were it stopped before (like it should!!). if the player is in the car, and i turn off the engine/power, the player shuts down, but when he gets power again, it doesn't start playing from the position were it stopped, instead it ALWAYS starts from the same position (very annoying if you always start listening at the same position....).

any idea what the problem could be?

Three possibilities:

VBR issues.

Database limit issues.

Wiring or Negative Spike issues.

a) VBR can't be the problem because the player starts in a different song and not only at a different position in the current song.

b) database limits, perhaps, but as i'm using the b13-images and the problems also happens if i'm playing a playlist with 10 songs or so....

it seems like it must be c).... i'll install the diode and see if that helps.
