A bit large but crazy footage of presumably some brits car modification here, I couldn't help but laugh when they would go around corners sideways at 10mph

Not Brits for once (they are driving on the wrong side of the road for a start), looks like Poland.
I can't work out if he has control over the front wheels, or if they are just floating free. Crazy.

I was going on the look of the car... after I posted that I realized it was a bit vague... If you look at one point in that video there are two people driving, one on one side and one on the other. I think it actually has two steering wheels.

The car is Italian, it's a FIAT.

I'm american... the only thing I'm exposed to are BIG frickin SUV's gimme a break. Seriously though, I would have never guessed fiat, being that the only fiats I've seen here in the states look nothing like that.

LMAO. That is brilliant. I would love to have been in that chase car watching people's faces.

That is too funny. It looks like there are two steering wheels, the front one controls the front wheels, the back one controls the back ones. So when only the back guy is driving, the "front" wheels go a bit free.

looks like Poland
At least that should be the "home" country of the car, as it has a "PL" for Poland sticker next to the rear (or what used to be the rear...) number plate. The names/titles associated with the file also suggest Poland.

Those are the exact two facts I was basing my assumption on. I don't have the ability to recognise bits of Polish countryside or towns as the flash past the camera at speed...

Hehe... We have a TV show here where two teams get to see essentially a FFWD of a trip, car/bus or train. The aim is to figure out the destination with the images combined with clues received while the tape is running. The longer it takes them, the less points they receive... Then there's also questions centered around the destination. Participants are usually "known faces" who posses a bit of humour - so it's not quite as boring as my description indicates.
And yeah, I figured you spotted the same clues, just wanted to expand on the reasoning...

ROFLOL and yup, it's a Fiat 126. in it's original form it's rear-engined: air-cooled 600cc with a whopping 23BHP!
It was build in Poland and exported around Europe until late eighties/early nineties; they didn't stop building and selling them in Poand until 2000.
