How long does it take for say a 30G drive?
Also should there be any feed back via hyperterminal?

Thanks,

Greetings!

Well, you load the drive builder with the upgrade software, and it will load the flash and pump the partitions. You will see that in emplode. After a reboot, you will see the builder working on the display (it will power off the display to prevent burn in) and see results on hyperterminal.

Once the drive is built, it will go into a testing cycle, performing random tests on the drive. This is an infinite loop, and will continue until you unplug the player. At that point, you would load the latest software.

Thanks Sir,

It appears that I have some sort of problem.

I'll try something else.

Thanks again,

You mean, you will see that in hyperterminal. Assuming he's following the instructions in the Drive Upgrade Guide.

Read the instructions in the Drive Upgrade Guide carefully, especially the part about what to do if it says "disk is already built"...
