How about the option to squeeze/shrink the visuals into the top 3/4 of the display when Info Line is switched on, to avoid cutting off the bottom 1/4 of the visual?

I almost suggested this one myself. I think you would just scale the screen or resample for a smaller vertical resolution. I like the single info line at the bottom because the thickness of the screen and the low mounting in my vehicle cuts off viewing of half of the top line.

One option like you had the same idea, would be squeezing the visuals, and another would be to display the info line only for 10 secs ( adjustable ) and then you have full screen vis until you skip or the next song starts...

Many people asked for this ages ago ...
lets see how often we have to ask, i am willing to ask again in a year ...
