It's been a year since I ordered the buttons from Brian's web page. It's been 10 months since I've recieved his last mail:

Subject: Status on button kits

Hello,

This email is going out to everyone I have received email from about buttons
and kits. By the end of this weekend, April 7th I will have all four colors
of buttons as a direct match of the lens color in daylight, plus blue-green
that matches the color of the display with the blue lens in place. I am
waiting for a shipment of leds to come which will be the only thing delaying
the kits. As all parts come I will email all who have requested a kit,
asking if they are still interested and what color they would like. If your
email did not request a kit you will not receive another email, I just
grabbed all addresses that had anything to do with the buttons or kits.

No, he's been making them that long. They're not available, he sends them out right after he makes them

Has brian just gotten fed up with the process and given up on production? I never seem to hear reports of new people getting illuminated buttons. It's perfectly understandable really, I don't think I'd like to spend every weekend casting buttons. That being said, I of course said "oh cool, illuminated buttons, I'll order those in a few months when I've got some cash". Oh well.

It's cool Brain is making them, and the only reason I sound unhappy is because I want them myself, not because I blame brian.

Months twice actually; Once for the guts and a green set. Then when I got my new car, I waited a couple months for the red buttons. Mark Lord installed them for me in a week s time (Thanks again guys!).

Its worth every minute, honest!

I've just about given up on mine, if they do ever arrive I'll still have them, but I'm now looking at making them myself.

I got a bulk e-mail from him on the 9th of September, telling people production was still going on and to be patient. If you didn't get that (assuming you ordered before that), there's a possibility your order has been lost...

You already got two sets of buttons? I didn't even get a single one yet, and my first order went out about a week after his first announcement!
Now I am sure I need to contact him again on why I didn't yet receive a single kit.

I got Brian's buttons from a third party. I'm not sure if he would want me to reveal his identity, but anyway thanks! I just need make the LED board fro the knob and buy all the other parts.

You might want to check out this thread. Brett (lopan) is looking to make some buttons also, and is in the process of getting it fine tuned.

Hmmm - I didn't get that email, but I ordered back in May last year, so I guess I can assume I'm not on the list. I think I'm going to pop over to Lopan's thread

I'm still waiting for mine - but since I got the NewFace, I think I'm going to find someone to solder the resistor pack for me and get some leds since the NewFace comes with translucent buttons. Then, if I do get the buttons from Brian, I'll just put them on my spare player. I'm in no hurry.
