Is there such thing? What i'm trying to do is , place the RF receiver for the logitech wireless controller inside the xbox. This can be done by splicing the wires going to the usb plug directly to the usb port on the inside of the xbox. But I would like the ability to choose which of the 4 ports the receiver would be plugged into at any given time. So i'm guessing I would need some type of usb switch/hub. Does something like this exist? If not, any other ideas?

You could do it with a normal physical switch easily enough as it's USB and is designed to be hot plugged. A rotary switch which does 4 pole 4 way should be okay. I seem to remember that the XBox has an extra wire for the joypads to power the vibration feature. Since you're using the Logitech receiver then you wouldn't need to switch this one.

It probably won't like you plugging in a joypad into the same port that you've got the receiver though.

well thats the point. I need a switch to be able to shut off the receiver alltogether for when I plugin a regular controller and also would like the ability to switch which port it runs on. I know I could use a rotary switch but i'm kinda picky on what it should look like. A rotary switch isn't what i'm thinking of. More of like a 4 position switch or something. I might be asking too much, but can't hurt to ask.

Only thing I've found is this 4P-3pos switch from digikey (the first figure 10, page 3). This would mean you could only select 2 positions (the third being left unfilled to remove power from the receiver). You could gang two of them together, so depending on how you wanted, Switch 1 would be off,P1,Other bank, and Switch 2 would be P2,P3,P4.. Just an idea.
