Aside from customizing the boot anim. and adding a custom logo, is it possible to also turn off or mask the verbose boot sequence that happens right after the logos are diaplayed and right before the player starts? I'd like the bootup process to just be boot anim, logo, and player starts - with no screen showing text scrolling, the software version, and the small empeg logo in the upper right, etc... I appreciate any ideas on this.

Thanks!

You could write your own player application, and use it instead. Then its boot sequence could display whatever you wanted it to display.

Just customize your copy of Hijack to display the boot logo longer. A one-line change in empeg_display.c

you wouldn't mind steering me toward which line to edit would ya? out of the 1400+ lines in empeg_display.c I'm not sure which one is the ticket. I can make a few guesses - but I don't want to seriously mess things up. I'm definitely no C programmer.
