Looks great! You may want to consider one of Robricc's black sleds when they come out. That way the edges of the sled won't be so obvious when the unit is removed. Nice custom work on the dash piece and the trunk though.

Nice install. As low in the dash as it is, do you have problems seeing the top left portion of the display?

Actually, i do.... but i got used to it, and its no problem if you lean back just a few inches... if you like your seat back, it wont be a problem, its SOooooo close, that some drivers will notice it and others wont, depending on how far your seat goes up.
I was going to angle it up in my initial idea, but it was too hard once i opened everything up.
thanks for the feedback.

If you haven't already done so, you might want to try the technique outlined in this post. It worked well for me.

How did you feed the empeg's output to your factory headunit?

It looks like Blitzsafe offers an AUX input adapter for Chrysler, but I'll assume he didn't know about that.
Instead I'm going to speculate that he ran the factory head unit through a line-level converter and then into the AUX input on the Empeg. Only down side to that is that the radio and tape don't work without the empeg in.
EDIT: Nevermind...he posted what he did below.

I used a Sony relay unit found on this site, to switch the line out from empeg to stock. The stock is connected to a speaker-to-line level converter first. I’m sure you can find the relay if you look around on this site. If you are interested, I’ll get more info on the relay. Does that help?

More info on that relay (Sony XA-39) here.
I forgot about that option. That's a good solution to the problem. Where did you happen to get it?...according to that thread, they are no longer available....

Yeah, that's the one, this way, i can run the stock radio, tape, (cd changer, once i connected it up again) when the empeg is home. I live in NJ, so its i dont like to leave the empeg in the car when its cold out, and if i forget and leave it at home, or for a short trip somewhere and its 20 below, i rather leave it home and listen to the stock system. This has worked out great for me so far.
