Occasionally the empeg will continue playing for a few seconds after I turn the car off. This gave a nice little idea...
The empeg, when the car is turned off, could play 1 or 2 seconds of audio and fade out before it powers down completely. It could follow whatever power down proceedures it does now (mark track position, etc) BEFORE doing the fade out (possibly making it easier to implement?)
It could fade in when powering up, covering the same 1 or 2 seconds it did when fading out.

Rumor has it that cross-fading is coming post 2.0. This idea sounds even easier to do.

Should be, no addl empeg resources, just a little battery drain.
