Hi,

I had an idea now which would really add value to my empeg use. I like to check the full track info from time to time (bitrate, etc.) but to pull up the detailed info screen without the remote isn't possible afaik. Would it be possible to add a long-press event to the info menu item which would pull up the detailed info screen? Or even a menu entry within the info tree?

With the new BPM feature, I want to look at the detailed info even more now!

There's not going to *be* a next 2.0 release, unless some kind of a show-stopper bug is found.

What you want to do can probably be accomplished in Hijack somehow using IR translation and the knob press. Anyone want to tackle that one and post it here?

Hijack->Knob Press Redefinition->Details.

Oh, heh. Been using hijack for over a year and I only noticed you could define "Detail" in a popup menu after you pointed it out now. Thanks guys.

Even better is to set the Knob Press to "PopUp0", which gives access to LOTS of buttons from the remotes. The "Details" screen is obtainable by selecting "Info" from the PopUp, and then doing a Long Press of it, same as one would with a remote.

Actually, I take that back.. long presses don't seem to work from PopUp0.. I think I did that on purpose at some point...

Umm.. is it possible you have this backwards? I'm pretty certain a long knob press when "Info" is highlighted yields the expected result of the "details" screen being shown. I also remember long press of "Visuals" in PopUp0 switching favorites mode. Haven't used either in about 10 or 20 Hijack versions, though (AKA about a week of calendar time.)

You are correct.. I didn't even notice that it was in Tuner mode when I first tried it..
