I recently download Studio 8 (a trial version) and now it won't let me uninstall it......it says that it is, but then it is still on the add/remove list....any ideas? (the program is deleted off the computer (I believe)

There are certain registry entries that tell the computer what is in the add/remove list. Off hand I don't remember where to go, but I have better information at the office. If you don't get a better response by tomorrow morning I'll send you a message.

First off, if you're not sure what to do in the registry or how to find it, maybe stay away from it or have someone more knowledgeble do it. It's easy to screw up the registry, so beware...

Alternatively, grab a copy of TweakUI, which has an applet for removing items from this list.

I sent you a message yesterday about what to do in the registry, but I hand't though about using TweakUI. That's probably the best solution to your problem.

Thank you very much for your help..i didn't find the "blinking mail" symbol until later....i haven't had a chance to try it yet though
