I'm not sure if this has been reported before, I had a quick search but didn't find it.

Since installing v2.00 on my Mk1, the tuner starts muted when reapplying the power after powering down in tuner mode, which it did with v2.0-b13. However, now the info screen is blanked, and once I unmute the tuner, it will no longer mute (either by pressing the top front panel button or using the remote) The mute button pauses the player ok, it just doesn't work in tuner mode.

Anyone else noticed this?

Odd, my tuner does not start muted when reapplying power like that. Anyone else have that behavior? I also don't recall getting the behavior you just described.

Do you have anything attached to the cell phone mute line? What's that set to in the player configuration?

Hehehe <evil laugh> Surely the Mk1 doesn't have a cell phone mute? (see FAQ) Oooh, I feel so deliciously evil after that! Sorry Tony, couldn't resist...!!

Seriously though, I'm not sure if it always starts up with the screen blanked. It doesn't seem to be blank when applying AC power, but the mute function definitely isn't working in tuner mode. I have Hijack v325 on the Mk1. I'll try upgrading to the latest version and if that makes no difference I'll reflash without Hijack just to make sure.

I'll check it again in the car tomorrow and make sure I'm reporting this correctly.

Failing that it might be the final push I need to get the Mk2 installed after all this time!!
