My best friend is getting married on August 9th in Kennebunkport, Maine and I am the best man. He's a strange guy, and one of the things that he would really like is for the groom's party to arrive at the wedding in a Hummer, or Hummer limo.

I thought that this would be somewhat straightforward, but I am having quite a difficult time finding anything.

If anyone has any ideas on who to call or where to go please let me know.

You could try here. It is an online reservation service, but it looks like it will get you in touch with local companies. You can specify the type of vehicle (incluing Hummer limos) and state you need it in. It might help a bit.

ISTR seeing a 24hr test drive advertised recently that explicitly included the Hummer. Just find a local dealership and book a test drive the week before

It doesn't seem like there are any Hummer limos in the state of Maine. Has your friend seen any around that just aren't listed on the interent?

Be warned that if you settle for a standard hummer, it may look big but they really will only hold 4 people. There is no bench seat to cram more people in.

The HML (hummer mailing list) is pretty big group of hummer enthusiasts online, and they might know more.

Kennebunk is far enough south that I bet a full day rental from a Boston firm would do. You're more likely to a stretch Humvee there than in Portland (the nearest largish city in ME) or Portsmouth, NH.

I was driving up to kennebunkport the other day, and I saw a hummer H2 limo on the highway going north out of boston.
I cant remember what the hell the company name was though.
This thing was freakin' huge too!

That's pretty damn expensive to rent an old hummer for a day. Plus the fact that I would have to pay $.50 a mile up to and back from Kennebunk.

BTW, the one that Fusto mentioned earlier is outside Rollo Limosines on Route 1A about 1/2mile North of wonderland T station.
