I was just noticing that on the serial port at boot time, I get a message that looks like this:

Hijack: intercepting config.ini

': not a valid identifieropts: `Option
Saved AC volume was 85
...

Looking at a raw serial log, I see that it's really this:

/drive0/var/ttsclock: getopts: `Option ': not a valid identifier

What looks like a space after the word Option is really a ^M and confusing getopts. I don't know what effect this has on the the script...

Looks like you've introduced CRs during editing or transfer of the script.

Normally, I'd think so too, but it's just that one, not every line and I hadn't edited the script.
