Seems like the whole bottom line in the regular display is unused. I'd like to see a progress meter or at least a total time for the track.

That would be cool, time left AND meter!
Also the upper right is semi unused. How about a mini-visual there? ie info and visual.

Aren't there some other pixels unused in the middle when the song/artistname is not too long...

The upper right corner is where the Hard Drive Icon lives, if its enabled.
But a progress bar along the bottom row of pixels would be AWESOME, if we could ever get track time/time remaining!

I'd like to see a progress meter or at least a total time for the track.

Fitting it into the display is the easy bit (except possibly in Info: Line). A bigger problem is how to drive it -- ideally there'd be a button on the remote for elapsed vs remaining vs "elapsed/total", but the remote UI is pretty densely-packed as it is.

Time remaining and "elapsed/total" on the current playlist would be harder but much more cool
