Just installed 2 60GB drives following Rob's instructions. Worked first time & now I'm the proud owner of a 111GB (according to Emplode) Empeg. Let's start downloading....

I now have a spare 18GB drive - IBM Travelstar that was in my empeg - anyone want it as a 2nd drive?
I also have a 2GB Hitatchi DK226A drive if anyone wants - just that little bit extra space for that CD that just doesn't quite fit.

Ah, go ahead, call it a 120 gig player.

Try listing the drives in For Sale.

Congrats with the upgrade. I just added an 80 to my 30. You have me beat by 10 gig...

The rounding (and drive "market speak") only gets worse as the drives get larger. The nominally 80GB drive will only give you about 74GB. 6GB in marketing jargon! Almost enough for an original Mark1.

Can't be bothered to ask for money for them. First come first served to anyone that wants to pick the drives up from Central London.
