I have a prospective buyer for my Mk1, and he will want to replace the Becker Mexico 2000 head unit (radio and tape) in a 1992 Mercedes 500e.
Some quick questions...
a) Does anyone know if this Becker unit is installed using an external amp?
b) How does the tunnel mounted front / rear fader work (if it uses an external amp, I suppose it's line level, or else it will be speaker level...)
c) Any tips

Thanks to the help last time, my Ford Fiesta amp cable install went without a hitch (thanks to Domanic and co.) So I'm hopeful someone out there can help again... =)
